El Aguila was sunk in 1997 by Anthony's Key Resort. In 1998 hurricane Mitch battered her into pieces. The bow stayed secure in it's original position while the mid section collapsed creating long straight swim-thrus. The Stern fell onto it starboard side resting at a steep angle. The stern holds a maze of swim-thrus that require multiple dives to discover all its secrets. The bows highlight is a swim-thru located on the top floor. A hatch opens into a room with a solitary stool. Daylight streaming in reveals a way out over head.
